Professional Pre-Cleaning for Restoration and Remediation
(EPA Reg No 99407-1)
Envirotab 20g Tablets generate chlorine dioxide when dissolved in water. Their larger size is designed for professional cleaning and deodorizing projects requiring greater prepared-solution volumes or a higher working concentration.
The tablets are especially suited to label-directed pre-cleaning in restoration, commercial, institutional, industrial and agricultural environments.
Each tablet is individually sealed to protect it from moisture until needed.
Available Variations
- Pouch: 10 individually packaged 20g tablets
- Box: 40 individually packaged 20g tablets
Both package variations contain the same 20g tablet. Select the quantity that best matches your anticipated treatment volume and frequency of use.
Label-Directed Mixing Guide

| Application | Mixing Direction | Prepared Concentration |
|---|---|---|
| Cleaning, deodorizing and bacteriostatic use | 1 tablet in 5 gallons of water | Approximately 100 ppm |
| Higher-strength cleaning, deodorizing and bacteriostatic use | 1 tablet in 1 gallon of water | Approximately 400 ppm |
| Air-space deodorizing | 1 tablet in 12 fluid ounces of water | Follow complete air-treatment directions |
| Water-storage and water-line treatment | 1 tablet in 100 gallons of water | Approximately 3–5 ppm |
These preparations are not interchangeable. Use the concentration, application method, contact time and finishing procedure specified for the intended application.
Powerful Cleaning
The label-directed solution removes soils, grime and stains from compatible surfaces. It can be incorporated into professional pre-cleaning procedures before subsequent restoration or remediation work.
The term “pre-cleaning” is important: Envirotab prepares and cleans applicable surfaces but should not be presented as independently completing an entire restoration or remediation process.
Deodorizing at the Source
Envirotab solutions may be used according to the label to address odor sources during professional cleaning projects. Potential environments include facilities affected by fire, smoke, water intrusion and other odor-producing conditions listed on the product label.
Successful deodorizing depends on proper source removal, surface preparation, concentration, application and contact time.
Bacteriostatic Applications
At the labeled concentration, Envirotab inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria on applicable hard surfaces and in designated water systems.
Bacteriostatic action controls bacterial growth associated with odors. It should not be interpreted as a general sanitizing, disinfecting or disease-prevention claim.
Potential Professional Applications

Depending on the selected preparation and complete label directions, Envirotab 20g Tablets may be used for pre-cleaning, cleaning or deodorizing in:
- Fire and smoke-damage restoration projects
- Water-damage remediation projects
- Commercial and institutional facilities
- Healthcare and long-term-care facilities
- Schools and universities
- Hospitality and lodging properties
- Food-processing areas for pre-cleaning
- Industrial and manufacturing facilities
- Transportation environments, including vehicles, buses and aircraft
- HVAC systems and ductwork
- Agricultural facilities
The presence of a facility category on the label does not mean every surface or treatment method is permitted. Verify the specific site, surface, concentration and application procedure before use.
Water Storage and Line Treatment
One Envirotab 20g Tablet dissolved in 100 gallons of water prepares an approximately 3–5 ppm solution for label-directed water-storage and water-line treatment.
Follow the registered product label for system preparation, treatment frequency, circulation, flushing and any restrictions applicable to the particular system.
Do not interpret this treatment direction as an unrestricted drinking-water purification or disinfection claim.

Air-Space Deodorizing
The product label provides a specialized preparation using one 20g tablet with 12 fluid ounces of water for designated air-space deodorizing applications.
The mixing amount alone is not a complete treatment procedure. Consult the registered label for the permitted treatment area, container requirements, placement, exposure period, occupancy restrictions, ventilation and reentry instructions.
Never occupy or reenter a treated area except as permitted by the complete label directions.
General Preparation
- Select a clean container suitable for the intended application.
- Add the required quantity of water.
- Add one Envirotab 20g Tablet to the water—never pour water directly onto the tablet.
- Allow the tablet to dissolve completely.
- Apply or introduce the prepared solution according to the directions for the selected use.
- Observe all required contact times, circulation periods, ventilation instructions and finishing procedures.
Important Safety Information
Envirotab tablets react with moisture. Keep each tablet in its original sealed foil packaging until immediately before use.
Wear the personal protective equipment required by the label when handling tablets, preparing solutions and conducting treatments. Protect the hands, eyes, face and clothing, and avoid inhaling fumes during tablet dissolution or application.
Do not combine Envirotab with other chemicals unless the combination is specifically permitted by the registered product label. Keep out of reach of children and use only in a manner consistent with the complete labeling.
