ENVIROTAB RAPID Room & Space Deodorizing Kit
Treat Persistent Odors Throughout Enclosed Spaces
Odors in hotel rooms, rental properties and other occupied spaces do not remain only in the air. Odor-causing compounds can penetrate carpeting, upholstery, curtains, mattresses, furniture, HVAC pathways and other difficult-to-access materials.
The ENVIROTAB RAPID Room & Space Deodorizing Kit produces chlorine dioxide gas inside an unoccupied, enclosed treatment area. A compact dual-port bubbler passes air through the prepared solution, helping distribute the generated gas more consistently throughout the room.
Rather than simply covering an odor with fragrance, RAPID is designed to oxidize odor-causing compounds in the air and surrounding materials.
Ideal for Professional Odor-Control Applications
RAPID can be incorporated into odor-remediation procedures for:
- Hotel and motel rooms
- Vacation rentals
- Apartments and rental properties
- Offices and conference rooms
- Dormitories and employee housing
- Locker rooms and changing areas
- Restrooms
- Smoking-odor remediation
- Pet-odor treatment
- Perspiration and body-odor concerns
- Food and cooking odors
- Musty or stale enclosed spaces
- Vehicles and other appropriately sized enclosed areas
Treatment requirements vary according to room dimensions, airflow, odor intensity and the affected materials. Larger rooms or severe odor conditions may require two RAPID jars positioned at opposite ends of the treatment area.
How the RAPID System Works
Each RAPID treatment begins by filling the reusable 12 oz jar with water to the clearly marked fill line.
A weighted diffusion stone is placed into the water and connected by clear vinyl tubing to the dual-port bubbler. After a 20 g tablet is carefully added directly from its foil pouch, the bubbler is connected to a standard 110 V US electrical outlet.
The submerged air stone produces a controlled stream of fine bubbles. This movement helps generate and circulate chlorine dioxide gas throughout the enclosed treatment space.
The room must remain unoccupied during the entire treatment.
Dual-Port Bubbler for More Complete Room Coverage
The included compact bubbler operates similarly to a two-port aquarium air pump. It features:
- Standard 110 V operation
- Short power cord for connection to a US wall outlet
- Two independent air-output ports
- Two clear vinyl air lines
- Two weighted diffusion air stones
- The ability to operate two compatible RAPID jars simultaneously
For a larger hotel room or more severe odor condition, a second compatible RAPID jar can be connected to the bubbler’s second port and positioned at the opposite end of the room.
Unless otherwise stated in the selected package configuration, one RAPID treatment jar is included. A second jar or additional RAPID kit may be purchased separately.
What Is Included in the Various Options
- Reusable 12 oz RAPID treatment jar with printed fill line
- Two individually sealed 20 g chlorine-dioxide-generating tablets
- One compact 110 V dual-port bubbler
- Two clear vinyl air lines
- Two weighted diffusion air stones
- Product directions and safety information
Recommended Preparation
For best results, complete the normal physical cleaning of the room before beginning deodorization:
- Remove trash and visible debris.
- Vacuum carpeting, upholstery and other applicable surfaces.
- Clean hard surfaces using an appropriate cleaning solution.
- Make sure carpeting, upholstery and other treated materials are dry.
- Close windows and prepare the HVAC system according to the product directions.
- Remove people, pets, plants and other items identified in the safety instructions.
- Place a warning sign on the exterior door before activating the treatment.
Cleaning first removes physical soils that could interfere with effective odor remediation.
Basic Treatment Procedure
- Read all label directions and enclosed safety information before use.
- Remove the jar lid and packaged contents.
- Place the RAPID jar upright on a disposable plate or protective liner to protect the underlying surface from accidental splashing.
- Fill the jar with water to the red fill line printed on the label.
- Connect one vinyl air line to a port on the bubbler.
- Attach the weighted diffusion stone to the opposite end of the air line.
- Lower the air stone into the water until it rests near the bottom of the jar.
- Carefully open one foil pouch without touching the tablet.
- Slide the 20 g tablet directly from the pouch into the water.
- Confirm that the tubing and jar are securely positioned.
- Plug the bubbler into a dry, standard 110 V US outlet.
- Confirm that a controlled stream of bubbles is rising from the submerged air stone.
- Exit the room immediately and close the door.
- Post a clearly visible “Do Not Enter—Treatment in Progress” warning sign.
- Allow the system to operate for at least 2–4 hours or for the treatment period specified by the current product directions.
- After treatment, follow the label directions and the facility’s approved procedure for shutting down the system and thoroughly ventilating the room.
- Do not allow normal occupancy until ventilation is complete and the area has been cleared for re-entry.
Using Two RAPID Jars
For larger rooms or stronger odors, the bubbler’s second port can operate another compatible RAPID jar.
Position one jar near the sleeping area and the other toward the sitting, entry or bathroom area. Run a separate vinyl air line and weighted air stone from each bubbler port to its corresponding jar.
Each jar must:
- Remain upright on its own protective plate or liner
- Be filled only to its marked fill line
- Use its own air line and diffusion stone
- Be positioned where it will not be disturbed
- Be prepared with the appropriate tablet quantity specified by the product directions

FAQS
Does RAPID cover odors with a fragrance?
No. RAPID does not depend on perfume to cover an unwanted smell. It generates chlorine dioxide gas that is designed to oxidize odor-causing compounds throughout the enclosed treatment space.
Can the dual-port bubbler operate two treatment jars?
Yes. Each bubbler port can supply a separate vinyl line and weighted air stone. A second compatible RAPID jar can be positioned at the opposite end of a larger room. Unless specifically included in the selected package, the second jar is sold separately.
Can people remain in the room during treatment?
No. The room must remain unoccupied while chlorine dioxide gas is being generated. People and pets must be removed, the entry must be clearly marked and the room must be thoroughly ventilated before normal occupancy resumes.
