Versatile Tablets for Cleaning and Water-System Maintenance
Envirotab 4g Tablets make it easy to prepare chlorine dioxide solutions for a range of label-directed cleaning, deodorizing, bacteriostatic, fungistatic and slimicidal applications. The premeasured tablets eliminate complicated measuring and help users prepare consistent solutions for compatible hard surfaces, equipment, water-storage tanks and water lines.
Available Variations
- Pouch: 28 individually packaged 4g tablets
- Box: 120 individually packaged 4g tablets
Individually sealed tablets help maintain product integrity until each tablet is ready for use.
Mixing Guide

Always fill the container with water before adding the tablet.
- Cleaning, deodorizing and bacteriostatic applications: Add one 4g tablet to one gallon of water to prepare an approximately 100 ppm solution.
- Higher-concentration fungistatic and slimicidal applications: Add one 4g tablet to one liter of water to prepare an approximately 400 ppm solution. Follow the product label for the concentration, additives, contact time and finishing procedure required for the specific application.
- Water-storage and water-line applications: One 4g tablet may treat up to 20 gallons of water at approximately 3–5 ppm when used according to the applicable label directions.
Allow the tablet to dissolve completely before applying the solution.
Label-Directed Performance
Cleaning and Deodorizing
Use on compatible hard, nonporous surfaces to remove soils, grime, stains and the sources of objectionable odors.
Bacteriostatic Action
At the labeled concentration, the prepared solution inhibits the growth of stain- and odor-causing bacteria on treated surfaces. A bacteriostatic claim does not mean that the general-use solution is a sanitizer or disinfectant.
Fungistatic Action
Label-directed fungistatic applications help inhibit or control fungal growth, including mold and mildew, on applicable surfaces and in designated systems. This claim should not be interpreted as an unrestricted “mold-killing” claim.
Slimicidal Action
The prepared solution may be used according to the label to control slime and associated biological buildup in designated water-storage and water-distribution systems.
Potential Applications

Depending on the selected concentration and specific label directions, Envirotab 4g Tablets may be used in:
- Greenhouses, nurseries and crop-production facilities
- Hydroponic systems
- Irrigation-water storage tanks and lines
- Livestock and poultry water systems
- Agricultural equipment and compatible hard surfaces
- Commercial, industrial and institutional cleaning programs
- Areas affected by odor-causing bacteria, fungal growth or slime buildup
General Preparation
- Select a clean, appropriately sized container.
- Add the required amount of water.
- Add one Envirotab 4g Tablet—never pour water directly onto a tablet.
- Allow approximately one to two minutes for the tablet to dissolve completely.
- Apply the prepared solution using the method and contact time specified for the intended application.
- Rinse, extract or allow to air-dry only as directed by the product label.
Certain mold-, mildew-, algae- or slime-related cleaning procedures may require a compatible Envirotab cleaning additive, surface agitation, a specified contact time and rinsing or extraction. Consult the complete product label before use.
Important Use Information
Wear the label-required personal protective equipment when handling tablets and preparing solutions. Protect the hands, face and clothing, and avoid breathing fumes generated while the tablet dissolves.
Keep tablets in their original foil packaging until use. Store the product and prepared solutions according to the label, keep out of reach of children and never use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Sanitizing and disinfecting applications have their own concentrations, preparation procedures and contact times. Those claims are not implied by the general cleaning, bacteriostatic, fungistatic or slimicidal directions presented here. Always consult and follow the complete EPA-approved product label for the intended application.
