Unlike conventional masking agents or fragrances, OdorPROTEC combines enzyme-enhanced continuing odor control with biostatic surface protection, helping restoration professionals provide an additional level of protection against recurring odor conditions.
Enzyme-Enhanced Continuing Odor Control
The revised OdorPROTEC formula contains 10% Dask HC-107 enzymes.
These enzymes continue working after application to help break down residual organic materials that may contribute to recurring malodors.
This gives OdorPROTEC a dual role:

- Continues addressing residual organic odor sources after application
Chitosan-Based Biostatic Protection
OdorPROTEC contains chitosan, a naturally derived biopolymer that forms a thin protective treatment on surfaces.

The resulting treatment provides a thin, penetrating layer rather than a heavy topical coating.
Water-Shedding Surface Protection
OdorPROTEC forms a thin hydrophobic treatment that helps protect environmental surfaces while minimizing residue. When properly applied, the treatment is designed to remain on the surface until removed through abrasion, cleaning or normal wear.

OdorPROTEC is now supplied as a fully prepared Ready-to-Use formula.

Simply transfer the product into an appropriate professional sprayer or fogging application system and apply according to the directions below.
Directions for Use
OdorPROTEC should be used after the primary source of the odor has been removed and the affected surfaces have been thoroughly cleaned and remediated.
- Prepare the area. Complete all necessary cleaning and odor-remediation procedures before applying OdorPROTEC.
- Use product as supplied. OdorPROTEC is Ready to Use. Do not dilute.
- Apply the first coat. Using an appropriate sprayer, apply a very thin, even treatment to the surfaces being protected.
- Wait approximately 15 minutes.
- Apply a second thin coat.
- Allow treated surfaces to dry with adequate ventilation.
Avoid flooding or saturating surfaces. OdorPROTEC is designed to leave a thin protective treatment rather than a heavy coating.
